I won't lie to you, I was *super* excited for this match. Not only because it's Andrea who is playing but because she recently defeated JJ in a cruising battle in Miami so it was obvious that Jelena was looking for a sweet revenge.

Andrea always smiling! Even when she is about to enter a blood battle with JJ =)

Yes Andrea, it's time!!

I had the opportunity to see the miami match live and god it was good! The atmosphere was great, fans cheering hard, and I must say that most of them were behind Petko. And well, being now in Stuttgart, Germany- you can figure that fans will be loud for their home girl.

JJ working her GrabThingsOfMyBag position.

Oh Jelena, trying to knock Petko out before starting the match lol We forgive you only because it was fun to watch.

I swear Petar look so different without his sunglasses!

JJ's team. Hi Snezana!
The match began with an early break by Jelena but followed another quick break by Andrea. 1-1. Let me say that at 1-0 Andrea began to touch her back and stretch. I can't lie, at first I thought something -bad- happened but thank god it was nothing!

JJ broke again 3-2. After that game Jelena began to play her game.
She had the opportunity to serve for the first set at 5-2 but Andrea broke back at love. This girl was FIGHTING. But then JJ broke Andrea´s serve and took the set 6-3 in 33 minutes.

Translation: "My flag is better than your serbian one. Go Petkovic"  (btw I ace German language)

I must say that the crowd was great. They made me feel as if i was in Germany cheering for Petko.

I agree with what this commie said "Petkovic is playing her best tennis against Jelena's serve". Andrea made a huge passing shot to produce a break point in Jelena's serve. She broke in the next point. 1-0 second set.

Petko had an early break in the second set 2-0. She raised her level and was dominating and making break point opportunities. But she was making UE also. Nerve raking for me. Rollercoaster like, deuces, advantages, deuces, advantages.

And Julia Goerges (Andrea's dubs partner) watching her in the stands.. aww

Jelena produced a DF to give Andrea the opportunity to break. And of course she took it. 3-0

4-0. Jelena dropped her game. Mistake after mistake. And Andrea took all the advantages out of them. 5-0

Jelena broke back when Petko was serving for the first set at 5-0.
Andrea with a "COME ON" took the second set.

Jelena, where are you?? aa right. Bathroom.

HEY. That guy has my banner from Miami on his shirt. Not fair =P

In the third set Andrea took a long time but finally got the early break 2-0. Nothing said yet, Jelena broke back 1-2 in the next game.

Super Petko broke again and then held service to take a 4-1 lead.

I had to post this. You ofc have seen this- Caro in every single commercial in your stream lol

Then when they were 4-2 the net gave JJ the desired break. But in the next game Jelena DF and gave the game to Andrea.

Andrea served for the match at 5-3 but took 5 match points to clinch victory.

Yes Andrea. Your heart sign reaches to all your fans who cheered for you through the entire rollercoaster match =)

Final score: 36 61 63 - Yeah guys, Miami all over again =)

Petko now leads the series 2-0 against JJ.

Commentator: "Petkorazzi is Andrea's alter ego. But she will not have time for any of that
now that she's a top player. She has many commitments now with the WTA".
-we will still love her even if she doesn't show *that alter ego* the commentator is taking about. We just want her to keep winning.

Tomorrow she faces Caro Wozniacki in the third round. THIRD ROUND. Toughest draw ever.

Miami rememeber again? Let's see what happens tomorrow. But one thing is for certain, this girl is extra motivated to keep winning and improving herself every second she is on court. She is playing like a top 10 player- and for what I know, she will be in the top 10 really soon! Hold on tight WTA.

Petko Heart.

Bojana Jovanovski upsets Jelena Jankovic in the first round in Beijing! Bojana with just 18 year of age defeated the 2008 champion in Beijing 4-6 6-2 6-2. It is her first Top 10 win!

Jelena:
"Bojana played really well. She was solid off the baseline and really gave me a hard time. Since I twisted my ankle in Portoroz I really haven't found my form. I'm still trying to get back to the tennis I'd like to play, but I'm not there yet. I have to work hard and keep going to get back to that level."
"I know how it feels when you're young and moving up, and it's very exciting. Every match you win gives you the confidence and motivation to work even harder and be better. I just wish her the best of luck in the tournament as well as in the future."
Bojana:
"It was very hard to play Jelena. We are such good friends off the court, we go out for dinner together and enjoy each other's company. It's a real shame two Serbian girls had to play first round, but you can't choose who you play. But I don't think Jelena was playing her best tennis today.
"I actually wasn't even sure if I should come to play Beijing. I was practicing well but kept losing first round everywhere, and after Tokyo I was just so mentally tired with the losses and frustrated my good play in practice wasn't translating into matches. In the end I decided to come though. It shows that if you keep practicing hard, the results at tournaments will come if you're patient."
