Rain Delay!

The semis were scheduled for 3pm yesterday. Unfortunetely, rain did it's job and wiped out all the tennis from the day.

The crowd waited and waited for long hours to see some action, but the only thing they were able to see was 2 games of Caroline vs Svetlana's match.

Yes, RAIN DELAY.

Caro and Sveta didn't miss the opportunity and rewarded the crowd for waiting in the rain! 

First we could see them play left handed while they were warming up and Sveta even gave a between-the-legs shot a chance!

When the match was on standby due to unstable weather conditions, the players were asked to take seat while they waited for a decision to be made on whether to stop or resume play. Caro didn't waste time and went to sit by Sveta's chair and showed that they are really good friends off court! They couldn't stop chatting and laughing.

 

To our delight, Caro went to her seat and took from her bag a small soccer ball and began playing with Sveta on the court:

They have skills people! We now know what Sveta could be if she weren't a tennis pro!

So, the semis were postponed for today (sunday) and ALSO the final... Now, what are the odds of that happening when there is mist and rain in the sky?
