Go queen Bethanie!

Our dearest Bethanie Mattek-Sands winds her way through the quallifying rounds defeating Ajla Tomljanovic, Roberta Vinci and Vera Dushevina.
Even though she is a doubles specialist she has already proved that she has the weapons to become a true singles star.

Even though Beth and her partner Shaughnessy lost today in doubles in a 3 tough setter battle she has singles to look forward to.


Today she played an all-American first round against Melanie Oudin. She defeated her 6-1 6-4. Pretty good huh? She now expands her winning strike to 4-0 against Mel.


Tomorrow she will face Kim Cljisters in the second round of Montreal. It will be for sure a tough one and will demand Beth's top quality tennis (considering Kim has recently won Cincy few days ago).


I have a motto that I think it's very true. At least it works for me: "nothing is impossible if you believe". Believing inspires you to reach your wildest dreams, it doesn't matter how big they are, because if you set your mind on something and you work as hard as you can, you will succeed. I think I've gone a little too emotional, so I will stop =). The thing is that we all know what Bethanie is capable off. So good luck Beth, do you thing and have fun.
